Running is high-impact and hard on your body. If you’re a beginner runner, or returning to your practice after a Winter break, don’t expect to run a half marathon tomorrow. Without the right build-up your body doesn’t have time to adapt, which can result in short-term (or long-term) injury.

This program brings together three professionals - a run coach, a physical therapist, and a sports dietician nutritionist - so your running, your strength, and your fueling are all working together to support your body.

Anne is a multisport coach and owner of Tri It Your Way Training. Since signing up for her first triathlon in 2009, endurance sports have been a huge part of her life. Running is her first love (don't tell biking and swimming), and she's happiest on the trails. Anne loves helping runners of all levels improve form and run with greater ease. She's also the founder of SHEcoast Multisport, a womxn's endurance community here on the Seacoast.
After an ACL tear ended her college soccer career, Angelica found her calling helping others rebuild and stay active. Now a Doctor of Physical Therapy at her practice Ebb & Flow Rehabilitation in Portsmouth, she works with athletes of all levels - from youth sports to professionals. Her approach focuses on retraining the fundamentals of movement and breath to build a resilient foundation, paired with hands-on bodywork to reduce pain, improve circulation, and keep you doing what you love for the long haul.
Briana is a Portsmouth-based sports dietitian and owner of New England Nutrition & Exercise who works with runners, cyclists, and endurance athletes on the often-overlooked piece: fueling. Her clients have PR'd races, crushed triathlons, and stopped bonking on long runs by learning how to actually eat for the work they're doing. Her approach is practical, non-diet, and built around sustainable habits that help you feel energized, strong, and ready to train.

You want to get into running, but you don’t know where to start. We get it, it can be overwhelming. This program gives you the structure, the support, and the community to achieve your goals.
You’ve got a 5k or a 10k on the calendar and suddenly, it’s feeling a lot closer! This program gives you a smart base to build from that allows other training programs to actually work for you.
Maybe it’s your left knee. Or your hip. Or lower back. Every time you think you’re safe to hit the pavement or trails once more, there’s another twinge of discomfort. The physical therapy portion of this program exists to break this cycle and keep you running, all season long.
You eat healthy, but feel lethargic when you finally get out for that post-work run. Our sports dietician nutritionist is in your corner and will help you understand how food can fuel your run practice, help with recovery, and keep you feeling your best.
