The Tweed Ride

$45.00

A slightly absurd procession of vintage bicycles, tweed jackets, caps, mustaches, skirts, bow ties, and bicycles with their own personalities. Bring your best (or only) tweed in any form. Awards for best dressed, most gentlemanly/gentlelady-like, and people’s choice favorite bike. Mustaches will be judged, lowest ranked mustache has to shave it off (just kidding. Or are we?)

Run of show:

11:00am - 12:00pm:  Arrival, coffee and pastries to fuel the ride, summon the bicycles and enjoy the vintage rides

12:00pm: Grand Depart - Ringing of the Bells to commence the rolling of the tweed.

1:00pm: Mid-ride provisions at Prescott Park (or similar). Picnic blanket, tea, biscuits, and maybe a cheeky bev.

1:30pm: Roll to photo spot. Polaroid of people and their bikes in front of an old landmark.
